Oklahoma's reinstatement charges are set by 47 O.S. § 6-212 (a processing fee, a trauma-care assessment, a DUI fee and a single reinstatement fee), but the amounts could not be verified from an official page opened for this project.

The national picture — which states charge the most to reinstate — is in our license reinstatement guide.

Ignition interlock

An ignition interlock is required to drive on a modified license under the Impaired Driver Accountability Program, and a person convicted of aggravated DUI (BAC .15 or more) must use an interlock for at least 30 days as part of the sentence under § 11-902(D). It is not imposed on every first offender who simply serves the revocation.

How interlock pricing works (installation, monthly lease, calibration, removal) is in our ignition interlock cost guide.

DUI education & treatment program

Before sentencing, the court must order an alcohol and drug substance abuse evaluation and assessment by an agency or assessor certified by the Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services, and the defendant must reimburse the agency for it. The fee is set by 43A O.S. § 3-460 and was not verified for this project.

SR-22 & insurance

Whether Oklahoma requires an SR-22 filing after a DUI could not be verified from an official source opened for this project.

Towing, impound & other charges

The court may also order attendance at a victims impact panel, which charges a fee of $15 to $25 (§ 11-902(H)), and the defendant pays for the mandatory assessment and any treatment it recommends. A second offense within 10 years is a felony, with a fine of not more than $2,500 under the imprisonment option in § 11-902(C)(2).

That total is deliberately incomplete: it leaves out everything no official Oklahoma source prices statewide — court costs where they are set county by county, interlock lease payments to a private vendor, towing and storage, and the insurance increase that follows an SR-22.
